Heritage Conservation Specialists
With decades of woodworking experience, we specialise in producing bespoke architectural woodwork for period projects and historic houses. Every piece is shaped with precision, using refined techniques with the priority of conserving heritage properties.
Using compliant materials and time-honoured techniques, your heritage property is in safe hands.

Why listed properties?
Heritage homes (listed properties) are not just old buildings - they are a record of how people lived, what they valued, and how they built for generations. When original features are lost, that record is diminished. We believe skilled joinery is one of the most important tools for preserving it.
Why heritage homes
Period properties carry an architectural language built up over centuries. Working on them demands an understanding of that language - how profiles were formed, how joints were cut, and why original methods still outperform modern shortcuts.
What drives us
The standard of the work is the point. Every moulding, every tenon, every fit at the bench is an opportunity to get it right. That discipline is not about perfectionism - it is about respecting the building and the people who will live with the result.
What a specialist provides
A specialist brings not just skill, but knowledge built-up over years on similar projects. That means fewer surprises on site, more accurate advice at the start, and woodwork that behaves correctly in the environment it was made for.
An efficient team
Every job is handled by the same two people - a craftsman and his apprentice. No subcontractors, no rotating crews. Just consistent hands and a shared standard on every project.

With decades of experience in bespoke joinery and heritage restoration, the lead craftsman brings a methodical approach to every commission. Each piece is considered from first measurement to final fit - nothing is rushed, and nothing leaves the workshop unless it's right.
Learning the trade through real work, the apprentice is a full part of every job - not just carrying materials, but developing genuine skill under close guidance. That relationship keeps standards consistent and ensures the craft is passed on properly, the way it always has been.
Working in a small team means every client deals directly with the people doing the work. There's no miscommunication down a chain. Questions get real answers, and decisions get made on site by someone who understands the full picture.
Our approach
Consultation
We discuss your project requirements, review drawings or samples, and advise on the best timber and profile for the job.
Design
Profiles are drawn up to your exact specifications. We match existing woodwork by hand or from a template.
Production
Each piece is machined and finished in our workshop using specialist tooling, with careful attention to grain direction and tolerance.
Installation
We will then fit the completed woodwork, so you can rest assured that it has been made with perfect accuracy.
Our partners
We work across a broad range of professional relationships - from the design stage through to site. Our partners rely on us to deliver accurate, well-crafted work that fits the standards their projects demand.
Architects
We work to architects' drawings and specifications, advising on feasibility, profile detailing, and the most appropriate timber for each application. Where existing features need to be replicated, we work from templates or site measurements to match the original.
